Native Clays is the soundtrack to the 2008 documentary about Native American pottery artist Tony Soares. Most of the tracks were recorded and performed by Clive Wright and flautist Carl Roessler. With the exception of Byzantine by Candlelight, which was part of a collaboration between Clive Wright, and ambient music legend Harold Budd.
Native Clays has become popular since its release for its calming moods. It’s perfect for Yoga and meditation.
The Album includes a guest appearance by Cock Robin singer, Anna Loscalzo. She sings background on several of the predominantly instrumental tracks on this album and was also the narrator on the original Native Clays film, the film can be seen here: Native Clays Movie (full) Indigenous Art and Pottery of Tony Soares.
